What a masterpiece! Never heard such a haunting and sad piece on Newgrounds! This could be played in a movie just after someone died and great emotions start to rise. Fantastic.
5/5 and instant favourite.

A beautiful track, not too sure 'bout that little thing that kicks in @ 1:40 though. It sounds a bit awkward.^^
I also agree with SupraDarky. The first 10 seconds could be a little louder, but overall it's great. 8/10 for you. :)

Cool cool.
I'm wondering wether I should do it over..( I might if I have the time )
Because after I made it, I listened to the real version, and I noticed some notes were off and...=/
I'll see what happens!
Thanks for the review! ^.^

BassForAddicts is a fast-paced DnB tune, that has some interesting twists & turns. It kinda feels like a futuristic chase. I think, you stretched it a tad too long though.
Still a very cool tune!

Man, this rocks! I agree with WBolin, this definitely is closer to DnB or Breakbeat.
You know you can edit your songs, right? I mean, you could still change the tag.^^
High 5/5 and a solid 10! :P

PS: I am on you favourite audio artists list? Wooah, are you serious? I'm nowhere near your excellence and therefor not worthy. :D
Oh, one last question: What program do you use?^^
Author's Response:
Well, vaifan90, I do not have a generic creation program. I use Magix 2005. All of my pieces are created solely within a studio (my school orchestra room). I invested in a ribbon mic not too long ago and have used it ever since.

I'm speechless by the sheer haunting beauty of this piece. So intense and strong. 5/5, 10/10 & favourited!

Thanks vaifan90, or should I call you Martin? At any rate. I, in turn, have favorited your site as well.
Haunting beauty... you know that inspires me...
Aren't you glad you came. I told you you would not be disappointed.
PM me if you get the chance!!!

"I just raised your score from 3.64 to 3.84! =)"
I mean: What the hell? This piece deserves a score above 4! :)
-1 star because it seemed a tad repetitive.^^

That is an outstandingly perfect ambient track. You really captured the feel of an oasis, although the electronic sounds introduced @ around 3:00min felt kind of 'wrong'. I mean: They go really well with the song but they don't seem to fit to the indeed ethnic and calm desert pattern, if you know what I mean. Anyways. Still 5/5 & 10/10.

PS: I can totally see that in a Flash movie but unfortunately I'm no Flash artist. :/
^^
Author's Response:
Eh, I like combining synths with ethnic or more classical instruments- I just love the kind of contrast of it. But well, aww
Thanks for the review!! :)

You know what this reminded me of? Assassin's Creed. I can't think of much more at the moment anyways, because that game fuckin rocks :D ....but yea, you know what I mean: It sounds...ancient. And there are definitely oriental melodies in it.
Oh, and it's certainly epic. :)

PS: I dunno if I wrote this in another review before and with the risk to repeat myself: You should totally think about gettin into the Hollywood business or the video game industry. You know...Your soundtracks would add so much intensity to films or games. Go MilkMan-Dan. :D

a mix of "Day Of The Tentacle" and "Sam & Max". Really cool loop. I love this kind of, as you say, "detectivey jazzish type" music.^^
I first heard it in "Shift" and never got tired of it. :)
5/5 & 10/10
